On “Accelerated Deity Termination” Zona Zanjeros pushes the boundaries of tension with the electric guitar. In the short run time it inhabits, Zona mangles the sounds of the guitar, using Ableton and max/msp to transform it into a tool for sonic turbulence, able to morph and mimic various instruments and sounds, including mimicking voice. More than 3/4 of the album is sourced straight from guitar, including the percussion per usual. The ritual is short in length, channeling aggression and speed into a tight futurist inspired sacrifice for the digital god.

Recorded in Olympia Washington on tour, assembled from live clips of this set.
